The NSW government's Solar for Apartment Buildings program is designed to facilitate the installation of solar photovoltaic systems on multi-unit residential buildings. By providing support to strata schemes, the program helps streamline the process of adopting solar technology, allowing apartment owners and occupants to benefit from significant savings on their energy bills and contribute to a more sustainable environment.

Applications for the SoAR programme opened on the 28th of February 2025 and close on 1st December 2025 and provide funding up to $150,000 for each project.
